Dog Birthday Cakes

How many of you with dogs celebrate your dog's birthday or gotcha day? Do you get a cake? The plethora of dog birthday cakes out there amazes me. A lot of times they look better than cakes for people. I'm sure they have better ingredients. I've always bought or baked a cake or cupcake for my dogs - however, I have taken the easy road and bought vanilla cakes or cupcakes for people and given it to the dogs before as well. There are no dog bakeries in my town and that leaves me the option of driving 30 minutes to the nearest dog bakery, baking the cake myself, or buying a cake/cupcake for people. Below are some examples of past cakes my dogs have gotten on their birthday:

Welcome to my new blog!

So, I previously attempted a blog that I only posted on a few times. I was challenging myself to write about mundane things... and it was so mundane that I only posted about three times. So, here we are again... my attempt to write and stick with writing a blog. I thought I might as well write about something I love. That brought me to dogs. I love dogs. I not only love my dogs, but I love reading about dogs, meeting other people's dogs, organizing dog meetups, going to pet stores to check out dog toys, going to dog bakeries... well, this could go on for awhile so I will stop now. This blog will be about my three dogs, Yukiko (an Alaskan malamute), Tetsuya (red shiba inu), and Deshi (b&t shiba inu). It will also be about random other dog things... whether they be an interesting article, new type of toy, treats, dog food, etc. So, I hope you enjoy this blog. Those of you who followed my last blog (all three of you) - I hope you come back to follow this one. I promise I will post more regularly.
